The main factor taken into account when choosing a skip is its size.
The smallest skips provide around one and a half cubic meters or 2 cubic yards waste space and are usually hired for small domestic purposes such as garden cleaning. Skips that provide three cubic meters waste volume, also known as 4 cubic yard skips, (1x1 meters in size) are ideal for small home renovation jobs such as bathroom or kitchen refurbishment.
Large skip sizes range from 6 to 10 cubic meters (6 to 12 cubic yards) and are usually used for large house renovation projects, bu8ilding construction waste or other heavy waste types.
